ˌglossoˈcomium Obs.
[mod.L., ad. Gr. γλωσσοκοµεῖον, lit. a case to keep the reeds or tongues of musical instruments, f. γλῶσσα tongue + κοµέειν to take care of.]
A case or frame for reducing a fractured or dislocated limb.
